Skate Park of the Week!
The Carolina Ice Palace is proud to announce the
addition of an exciting new recreational complex at our
facility in North Charleston. The Carolina Ice Palace
Skate Park, nicknamed the "Courtyard", features over
twenty-five sections of ramps, rails, spines, launch
boxes, quarter pipes, and grind boxes for both
skateboards and in-line skates.
The Skate Park covers an area greater than 17,000 square
feet and is one of the largest
extreme
sports complex in the Southeast. The Courtyard will be
able to have 80 participants per session and contains a
large observation deck for guests and parents to view
the fun. This Skate Park is partially covered by an
awning to allow skaters to utilize portions of the
Courtyard, rain or shine. |

Skateboard Fear Tips - Take Your
Time
A lot of the time, fear in skateboarding comes from
pushing yourself too hard. Maybe you just bought your
skateboard last week, and today you're trying to jump
off a ramp. If you are scared, well, that might mean
that it's a little too soon for you to try jumps. Take
your time with skateboarding - learn at your own speed.
Being relaxed and loose will help your skateboarding
in so many ways. Relax, breathe, and learn at your own
pace.
